GUIDELINES

We’ve established the following general campground guidelines to help ensure your safety and your enjoyment while in our park and the same to our other guests.

• Treat your neighbor the way you would like to be treated with kindness, courtesy and respect.
• Keep music at a low level.
• Do not walk through their campsites. 

GENERAL RULES

SPEED LIMIT: 5 mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests. Remember…children are playing! 

QUIET HOURS: 10 p.m. to 7a.m. 

CHECK IN: 2 PM

CHECK OUT: NOON

SITE OCCUPANCY: Only one (1) RV and up to two (2) vehicles allowed at each campsite. Additional Vehicles $25/month.  Max 6 campers per site then $5 per a month for additional per campers.

PLACE GARBAGE IN DUMPSTER located on the East part of the property at the entrance. Please make sure doors on dumpster are closed.

FIRES at Sites: Currently Once In Life RV & Campground does NOT allow fires at sites. Please no open fires or fire pits.

CHILDREN: Parents/Guardians are responsible for all behavior of their children.

PETS: Pets allowed with Pet Deposit. Max pets 2 unless approved by management. Any animal that displays dangerous behavior is not allowed. Breed restrictions apply, no vicious breeds permitted. Pets must have current shots and ID tag. Pets must be on a leash when outside the unit. We do permit gating of pets as long as your pet will stay inside the barrier. Any pet that is persistently noisy, off leash, or aggressive, we will ask it be removed from the park. YOU are responsible for picking up and properly disposing of pet droppings immediately. There is a $50 fine for pet droppings left behind.

**DO NOT wash your dog in the Showers. Dukes Travel Plaza at 300 SE Access Rd. in Mt. Vernon has a Dog Wash**

NO CUTTING OF TREES OR SHRUBS.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES: Only electric operated vehicles are permitted. Only licensed drivers should operate.

VEHICLE REPAIRS: Vehicles and RV repairs are not permitted in the park without Campground Admin approval.

RV/VEHICLE WASHING: You are NOT permitted to wash your RV or vehicles at our campground. Lucky 7 Truck Wash is available at 1316 Holbrook St. in Mt. Vernon and Kwik Kleen Car wash is 1003 TX-37, Mt. Vernon.

OTHER CAMPING GUIDELINES: 

*We know there are a ton of RV renovations out there that are amazing, we have a 20 year restriction on our sites but we require your unit be in good condition, no air condition units hanging outside of widows or doors, no flat tires, or broken external panels or windows. If your RV is older than 20 years please send Camp Admins (campground@once-in-life.com) a current picture of your unit so we may see if we have a spot for you!

*Ground disposal of any drain water (gray or black) is prohibited by State Law. Wastewater from RVs (including sink water) must be disposed of into sewer drains. Do not put grease down the sewer. Sewer connections are required by state law and must have a tight seal by a sewer donut (or sewer ring) or a screw-type connector. No "Y"flush connections.

*From November 1st to April 1st a heated hose must be connected to the hydrant correctly and insulated. If the line freezes at the riser, the guest will be responsible and charged for repair costs.

*Stay on the roads, and in parking areas do not drive through yards.

*Use of firearms and fireworks is strictly prohibited. 

*Keep campsites clean and free of debris, cigarette butts, and clutter. Cleaning fee will be added to your account if the site is not left ready for next guest.

*To receive mail, please use the post office in Mount Vernon.

*The possession, sale or manufacture of illegal drugs or drug paraphernalia on Campground Property is prohibited.

* No Smoking inside common pavilion area.

*Satellite dishes must not be placed on trees. Satellite dish must be attached to your unit or directly in front of or behind your unit. Wires should not be in the way of campground maintenance. 

*No additions to sites or changes to sites without prior written permission, ie decks, fences(small pet fences are permitted), carports, etc.

*Laundry units are available for guest use. Coin operated.

**Some of our guest may be allergic to pet hair, please NO WASHING OF PET ITEMS OR GREASY ITEMS in Laundry - please visit Kwik Kleen Laundromat at 1000 TX-37, Mt. Vernon

VIOLATION OF THESE GUIDELINES could result in ejection from the park without a refund. Other Policies Rates are subject to change without notice. The Guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively) the danger of being injured by insects or other animals. Campground and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes. 

 Cancellation Policy

For Daily and Weekly Reservations: we require a 48 hour notice, subject to a $10 cancellation fee.
For Monthly Reservations: we require a week notice, subject to a $10 cancellation fee and all deposits will be refunded.
If cancellation falls outside of these parameters there is no refund.
ALL RESERVATION FEES AND PROCESSING FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 

Early Departure Policy

For Monthly Guests: No refund or prorating fees after Fourteen (14) days. Prior to the 14 days rates will be prorated at the base of (14) days. Electrical deposits will be used to pay for utilities, unused funds will be returned. Pet deposits will be returned upon the site be left clean and clear for the next guest. 

For Weekly or Daily Guests: No refunds no deposits returns. 

MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE, LIMIT THE LENGTH OF STAY AND THE NUMBER OF PERSONS OR VEHICLES PER SITE AND/OR EVICT ANY PERSON OR PARTY WITHOUT REFUND. CAMPING IS AN OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE, THEREFORE WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS DUE TO WHIMS OF MOTHER NATURE!
